Heartland Payment Systems, Inc. Training Specialist in Jeffersonville, Indiana
The Training Specialist will be responsible for providing training to new hires and tenured employees. The Training Specialist will partner with internal customers to determine employee development needs, define when training is needed, and then create and conduct the necessary training. Post-training, the Training Specialist will follow-up with their internal customers to determine training impact and schedule additional training and coaching as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide the necessary training for new hires and tenured employees
Spend time with internal customers to identify and meet their needs
Build strong relationships with internal customers
Follow-up with internal customers to evaluate training effectiveness
Develop all needed classroom material
Schedule training classes
Develop, maintain, grade, and track quizzes
Ensure content management system contains the most accurate and up-to-date information for internal customers to access and assist their customers
Other duties as assigned
- 2 Year Degree required or 3+ years in a corporate training/coaching position or similar work experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
2+ years designing training events or leadership and coaching in a corporate or educational setting required
Fundamental knowledge of bankcard industry a plus.
Effective communicator - be patient and have the ability to convey a message in a way that everyone understands
Previous experience presenting complex information to a variety of audiences required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment meeting deadlines.
Proven organizational and customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently on several projects simultaneously with intrinsic motivation to finish assigned projects on time.
Level: Works under limited supervision and has the latitude to determine approach or methodology; work has a moderate amount of variability; travel on occasion; encounters problems that require analysis of several factors to solve
