Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to promote and lead a quality driven culture across Covance Central Laboratory Services. The role involves regular internal and external audits, verification that all operations meet applicable quality standards, and acts as a compliance advisor on all quality issues. Duties will include the following:

• Acts as a liaison for more than one operational department.

• Interprets regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Creates training material and delivers training to operational departments.

• Creates new global procedures.

• Hosts client and regulatory audits/inspections.

• Train and mentor other members of the team.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead associated initiatives.

• Other essential job duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications

Seeking a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – Science related field preferred

Experience

We are seeking 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a regulated environment.

Preferred working experience in in any of the following:

• Good Clinical Practices (GCP).

• College of American Pathologists (CAP)

• Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)

• Quality Management System (QMS)
