The Hygenic Corporation Logistics Coordinator in Indianapolis, Indiana
Responsible for being the on the floor liaison between shipping operations and the supply chain team.
Understanding and attainment of all product quantities requested and quality shipping and packaging requirements specified in HPN’s (Hygenic Product Number).
Correct and notify DC Supervisor of any quality issues with product.
Follow all processing specifications outlined in the BOP (basic operating procedure).
Enter transactions for internal movements between the warehouse and production.
Record all productivity data.
Coordinate with DC Supervisor on day’s workload priorities and distribute work assignments.
Troubleshoot transactional problems and provide guidance on customer specific procedures.
Correct and identify root-cause on any inventory adjustments.
Perform system allocations of stock to orders, back order, etc.
Track and record shipping errors.
Track and ship international orders.
Report any issues to Director-Distribution
Processing RGA, matching and logging.
Miscellaneous reports, cycle counting, and responding to email correspondence as needed.
Works with the others to troubleshoot problems or address issues that can get in the way of efficient logistics management.
Communicate and assist with other internal departments such as Manufacturing, International, QA, Supply Chain and Customer Service departments with order and inventory queries.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, Manhattan, SPS, FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship and Vendor Central.
Ability to lift up to and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient problem-solving, organizing and coordinating skills.
Proficient math skills and logical reasoning.
