Dow Chemical Cost Accountant- Indianapolis, IN in Indianapolis, Indiana

Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant. This role supports the North American Operations organization including Manufacturing Leaders, Production Site Management and the Supply Chain organization.

  • Primary Responsibilities *

  • Preparation and booking of period-end journal entries

  • Product Cost Estimate – calculation/reviews

  • Work with management to forecast spending and related variances for inclusion on monthly processes

  • Analysis of expense or other variances, and forecast these items in support of the business forecast

  • Annual Planning and Budgeting processes

  • Supports the business in Sarbanes-Oxley assessments and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place

  • Support management with cost analysis

  • Analyzes and consults on financial impacts to the business

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or MBA in Finance a plus

  • 1 to 4 years of finance or related work experience

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to interface with a individuals across multiple functions with excellent written and verbal communication required

Understand internal control and compliance
