Centralized Intake Coordinator

Our Centralized Intake department is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are responsible for the review and processing of skilled nursing referrals from hospitals, data entry, following up with case managers and verifying benefits. We review the H&P, medication list and PT, OT notes. Strong data entry skills and a solid understanding of post-acute care is needed. We offer a healthly working environment with beneifts. This is a full time position 12:00 noon to 9:00pm. Weekends are rotated


Must adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy including documentation and reporting responsibilities

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and Managed Care Plans Customer Service/Marketing experience strongly preferred

  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and work evenings and weekends

  • Must be able to multitask

  • Must be well organized

  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information

  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with other employees at all levels

  • Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job

Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
