Hancock Regional Hospital Temporary Billing Staff in Greenfield, Indiana

Provide professional clerical and administrative support to the Hancock Physician Network Billing Director and Department.

 Consistently demonstrate a high level of accuracy for all projects and assignments.

 Complete all assigned tasks and projects from the administrative team in a timely manner.

 Prioritize work on a daily basis to meet all deadlines.

 Conduct self in a positive and professional manner at all times.

 Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of information viewed and received.

 Assist with collection and entering of payments

 Mail run to post office and other HPN locations

 Sort mail that is received and deliver to recipient.

 Various clerical duties as needed: Preparing letters, scanning, copying, faxing, filing, and assisting with projects as needed.

 Daily Close

 Order supplies for the network office

 Maintain central copier and fax. Ensuring adequately filled with paper each day and incoming correspondence placed in appropriate box. Schedule routine maintenance and call in trouble orders for universal equipment. Order toner, paper, and supplies necessary to keep appropriate stock on hand at all times for copier.

Required Experience: One (1) year experience in physician’s office, insurance company or collection agency or training at an educational institution preferred to include training in medical practice software, ICD, CPT and HCPCS coding and proper insurance filing.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
