Norfolk Southern Logistics Coordinator in Fort Wayne, Indiana
NOTE: This is a NIGHT swing position 1800-0600, 7on/7off… Monday 1800 through the following Monday 0600
Primary Purpose: Manages & coordinates pick-ups & deliveries of customer freight.
Manages customer pick-up & delivery.
Coordinates all customer freight movements.
Builds relationships with assigned dray carriers to ensure timely pick-up & delivery.
Partners with drays, the inland port & customers to ensure on-time service.
Books export loads for customers.
Enters deadheads for dray carriers.
Coordinates weekly shipments.
Monitors weekly shipments via rail & truck. Works to resolve any issues.
Enters, monitors & traces weekly pick-ups & deliveries.
Produces daily & weekly reports on pick-ups & deliveries.
Maintains accurate inventory of equipment.
Job Related Experince:
- Minimum Level: 1-2 years / Preferred Level: 3-5 years
