CMM Operator - Performs a variety of assignments that impact the design, manufacturing, test, calibration, efficiency, quality, and application of the companyand#39;s products. Support internal/external customers.Duties/ResponsibilitiesProgram and measure plastic fuel tanks, using a CMMEnsure gage fixtures properly calibratedAlert/support QEs, PEs - on any process adjustments to fixturesCompile data into various chart formsEnsure continuous control procedures are exercisedEffective working relationshipsMaintaining professional competence, knowledge, and skill for satisfactory performanceWork with QEs to ensure programs are accurate to print and customer specifications Training, knowledge, and performance:This position, though technical in scope, assignment, and direction - is not typically occupied by an academically trained or registered engineer. Metrology lab/inspection experience preferred2 - 3 yearsand#39; related work experience preferredKnowledge of QA labMust possess excellent computer and communications skillsThorough knowledge of manufacturing operationsSystematic problem solving skillsExperience conducting or preparing for TS/ISO quality system auditsWorking Conditions:Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
