This position is a 10-month, full time position with possible summer teaching, available August 17, 2018. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the graduate and undergraduate sport administration/management curricula, advising graduate student research, and supervising student projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Earned doctorate degree in sport management/administration or closely related field from an accredited college or university on or before August 6, 2018. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Evidence of successful teaching in sport management/administration; evidence of scholarly productivity through national/international publications, national/international presentations, and external grant funding; practical experience in the sport industry. DEPARTMENT School of Kinesiology:900030 DEPARTMENT INFORMATION The School of Kinesiology is currently one of six academic units in the College of Health at Ball State University. The School is housed in the Health and Physical Activity (HP) complex on the Ball State University campus. Specific facilities that are either part of the School or are used by the School include classrooms and office areas within the HP complex, activity spaces in the Field Sports Building, Worthen Arena, JoAnn Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC), Lewellen Pool, Ball Gymnasium and Pool, and several outdoor activity spaces.
