The Special Projects Manager will assist in developing and implementing the global product line strategy through close coordination with the Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing groups. This person will be responsible for management support of the products as it relates to customers, Grote�s sales force, distributors, the general program and special projects for the General Manager (GM). In addition, the person filling this role will implement the corporate project priorities within the product family, taking company financial and customer interests into consideration.

Requirements: Education Requirements:
� Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with three (3) to six (6) years of field experience.
� Additional education or training in a related technical field is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
� Proficient use of a personal computer and MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
� Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
� Demonstration of good organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage conflict.
� Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects on time while working under high stress.
� Strong understanding of Customer Order Management, Sales/Marketing strategies utilized at Grote Industries, NPI and Key Customer processes.
� Background in customer service is essential.
Additional Responsibilities
� Coordinate the ABC program with the GM, the field sales team and customers.
� Maintain changes of policies and procedures as established by the GM.
� Assist in coordinating activities in the annual budgeting process among the GM, R&D, Project Management/Application Engineering, corporate Accounting/Finance and other departments.
� Assist the GM in creating new customer programs within Grote system capabilities.
� Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts in order to facilitate any questions in absence of the GM.
� Represent at various meetings when requested by the GM.
� Provide accurate/timely execution of due reports.
� Coordinate quotation activities throughout the company.
� Handle product inquiries and screen phone inquiries.
� Carrying out any special requests as directed by the GM.
Travel:
Extensive travel may be required.
