          Summary

          The Nursing Assistant has responsibility and accountability for delivery of high quality basic nursing care for a

          designated group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with individual patient

          needs, physician orders, hospital and departmental policies. Maintains confidentiality of information regarding

          patients/significant others and all health care team members.

          Education

          Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred

          Additional Educational Information

          High school diploma or GED required.

          Licensure/Certification

          Additional Licensure/Certification

          CNA certification preferred or the equivalent of healthcare experience and education. Current CPR.

          Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient care giver.
