  • This position will be located at Parkview Noble, however based upon census and staffing needs you may be required to float to Parkview Lagrange. High school diploma or the equivalent with a GED. Effective May 3, 2015 - Must have either current CNA, EMT, Paramedic certification; OR two (2) years previous experience in a nursing support role; OR two year (2) years military medical experience; OR a nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited program (ASN or BSN), having completed their first clinical rotation on an extended care or inpatient nursing unit (nursing school transcripts required). Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Must have current CPR at or above the Healthcare Provider level from the American Heart Association or obtain within 60 days of hire. EMT/CNA/Paramedic certification preferred or must have the equivalent of health care experience and education [two (2) years previous experience in a nursing support role; OR two (2) years military medical experience; OR a nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited program (ASN or BSN), having completed their first clinical rotation on an extended care or inpatient nursing unit (nursing school transcripts required). Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)]. If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire. Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient care giver. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
