Description:
Scope Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring items are properly packaged, and addressed for shipment. This individual must demonstrate behaviors consistent with Goodwill Industries Historic Values, Basic Principles, and Standards of Conduct.
Qualifications
• Attention to details a MUST
• Solid decision making skills
• Basic computer skills including data entry required
• Prior experience in shipping role preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of Cold Seal Machines and/or Hot Seal Machines a plus
• Ability to stand for prolonged period
• Light lifting required
Critical Job Duties
• Ensure product is properly packaged for shipment
• Ensure accuracy of shipment destination
• Willing to handle other job duties as assigned
