          Description:
          The Senior Director, Retail Stores, provides the strategic vision, creating and implementing the goals and objectives for the successful performance of retail store operations. This leadership role additionally oversees mission integration, sales, service, merchandising, and production with direct responsibility for the profit and loss of the retail store operations. The Senior Director, Retail Stores, will also be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and presenting information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, best practices, expense controls and economic trends impacting retail operation efficiencies. The Senior Director, Retail Stores will be responsible for articulating strategic direction to the Retail Store Director Team who manage designated segments of the entire retail system, while overseeing the seamless execution of its tactical and strategic plans. Supports and drives Goodwill’s mission to help people in central Indiana prepare for, find and keep jobs, with an emphasis on finding employment. Additionally, supports and manages through embracing and demonstrating Goodwill’s five Basic Principles.

          Required Experience:
          Qualifications
          • 5 years of multi-unit management experience
          • Strong project management background in a continuous improvement work environment
          • High emotional intelligence, track record of strong leadership
          • Proven leader in the areas of budgeting and planning, customer service, operations, and business development
          • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
          • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and computer (proficiency with Microsoft office products)
          • Solid presentation abilities
          • Results oriented and driven to achieve goals

          Required Education:
          Bachelors in Business Management, Operations Management or related field

          Compensation:
          Salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus program
