Genesys Compensation Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for developing and administering compensation programs which contribute to the success of our employees and aligned with the companys business needs. The ideal candidate is detailed and accurate in the handling of sensitive and large amounts of data. Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) * Design, develop and deliver incentive compensation plans for a global sales organization * Develop and maintain business partnerships with Finance, Sales Leadership, and Human Resources * Responsible for accounting of financial reporting of incentive and commission expenses * Perform adhoc analysis pertaining to incentive and commissions data for Sales, Finance, and HR * Work closely with staff accountant responsible for invoice reconciliation to ensure the data used to calculate commissions is accurate prior to month end commission cycle * Participate in the roll out of compensation plans to the sales force, preparing supporting documentation. * Responsible for the integrity of the commission and incentive data * Research and resolve questions raised regarding payments, commissions and bonus plans. * Provide recommendations for data quality improvements and system enhancements to drive higher quality output * Review processes and look for efficiency to streamline commissioning * Manage confidential information MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail skills needed * Advanced Excel skills * Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Experience with Callidus and Netsuite preferred. * Ability to actively listen and learn * Ability to work in a team environment * Ability to take initiative and be proactive * Ability to work independently and be resourceful * Customer service skills * Creative and critical thinking skills * Organizational and clerical skills * Inductive and deductive reasoning * Flexible and adaptable * Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment * Ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner * Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in work experience * 3 years working experience in a corporate environment * A strong interest and experience working with new software tools and system implementations.
