Responsibilities The Creative Services Associate is responsible for overseeing the modification and/or production of derivative marketing tactics, including 1) management of production timelines, budget, and overall tactic quality, 2) utilization of the Custom Buy or LillyPRO to enter specifications and secure estimates, 3) acquisition and dissemination of Distribution Files 4) acquisition and dissemination of Source Files, and 5) acting as the SME and single point of contact for tactic modification and print production. Derivative tactics include, but are not limited to:

  • Existing marketing tactics subject to reorder

  • Existing marketing tactics subject to modifications that require minimal creative redesign

  • Non-AOR, non-strategic tactics

  • New marketing tactics created by Lilly Project Owners without the involvement of an Agency of Record (AOR)

The Creative Services Associate reports to the Director, Marketing Operations & Capabilities.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Obtain existing Source Files and Distribution Packages (i.e., PDF X1As) from AORs

  • Ensure tactics are created/developed to meet requirements and specifications as defined by Project Owners

  • Collaborate with Lilly and non-Lilly partners to meet tactic requirements (e.g. delivery dates, CIQ, Branding, Production, etc.)

  • Influence production and quality standards

  • As needed, select a local agency to develop new tactic files for production

  • Enter specifications into CustomBuy or LillyPRO to gain estimates and timing early in the project

  • Obtain feasibility estimates from local agencies and printers to confirm tactics can be delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality

  • Provide Project Owner with cost saving and efficiency alternatives, considering scope and creative direction, that PRC may bring forward

  • As needed, review new Distribution Packages to ensure files are built correctly and in alignment with Brand Standards

  • Communicate with Project Owners in a timely manner to discuss project progress

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of print production and advertising experience

  • Experience managing 3rd parties, including working with contracts and work orders

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

  • Previous marketing and business operations experience
