2018 Intern - Marketing - Dixie Chopper
Dixie Chopper, Jacobsen/Textron Company is a leading manufacturing organization headquartered in Coatesville, Indiana. We are looking for the next generation of cutting edge professionals to develop and lead the vision of the company moving forward.
Our internships provide students with real world assignments that bring real value to the business and high level exposure to our industry. The Marketing intern will work alongside other members of the Marketing team to bring new and innovative concepts to assist in the company’s marketing efforts.
All tasks and projects assigned are intended to develop practical “real world” working skills. These can include:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various trade shows
Leverage new and existing vendor relationships to manage promotional item and apparel offerings
Work with Public Relations Specialist to develop written communications for dealers, customers, and industry publications
Actively manage company’s social media profiles to increase exposure
Generate promotional mailings to target potential dealers and customers
Perform market research and analysis as it pertains to lead generation
Other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field
Solid academic track record – GPA of at least 3.0 preferred
Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
