Nestle Waters North America is growing. Nestlé Waters North America, a high-speed production facility, is looking for a Yard Switcher for our 12-hour shifts.
This person is responsible for moving trailers in and out of dock doors, yard and other areas as required. Support the Logistics Team as a Warehouse Technician loading and unloading trucks.
Duties include
' Safety operating a yard switcher to move trailers in and out of the docks in a timely manner
' Coordinating and communicating with Dock Staff to ensure effective yard management
' Using Microsoft applications and SAP to ensure yard inventory/trailer accuracy, dock door management, and other system driven processes
' Must maintain the yard tractor and warehouse in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and good manufacturing processes
' Correctly completing all necessary documentation and paperwork, including pre-trip inspections
' Interact with warehouse team members, quality control, and production to maximize output and efficiency
' Inspect trailers and loads in the yard and on the dock
' Assisting with the loading of trucks as needed to support customer demand
' Perform all functions of a Warehouse Technician when needed
' Perform assigned cleaning duties
' Participate in debriefs, roundtables & other team based communications
' All other duties as assigned
. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

' Class A CDL license required with prior relevant work experience moving trailers in a high volume switching environment
' Forklift experience and experience loading trucks in fast pace environment.
' Communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team based environment
' Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work in the yard
' Customer focused attitude with effective carrier interaction skills
' Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
' Effective organizational and time management skills to ensure proper execution of yard management
' Focus on safe work practices and compliance with DOT regulations
' Ability to lift 50 lbs, frequently go up & down stairs and work outdoors in four season weather
