          Mead Johnson Nutrition Manager, Global Quality Compliance in Evansville Indiana United States

          Title: Manager, Global Quality Compliance

          · Provides critical evaluation via auditing of Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) internal operations (e.g. Manufacturing, Quality, R&D Operations, Clinical, Medical Services, Information Management, etc.) to ensure quality and safety of MJN products and services; and, to assure compliance with appropriate regulations, applicable Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and Mead Johnson internal requirements.
          · Works with audited function to ensure corrective action plans address the audit observations, drive continuous improvement, and are completed on time.
          · Works with MJN sites to drive continuous improvement activities to improve food safety and compliance to internal quality standards and the MJN Quality Manual.
          · Develops audit standards.
          · Develops overarching MJN quality system guidance via policies, procedures, and the MJN Quality Manual.
          · Consults with MJN internal operations regarding quality systems.
          Approximately 30 - 50% domestic and international travel required

          · Maintains alignment with Global Quality Services concerning regulatory environment as it impacts food safety and change control practices within MJN.
          · Maintains alignment with key MJN global functions (i.e. Global Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, Clinical, and IM) to ensure audits are impactful and meaningful.
          · Prioritizes responsibilities in order to meet desired outcomes according to schedule.
          · Identifies and diffuses best practices to improve product quality, productivity, operational quality, and overall customer service throughout all sites.
          · Maintains and diffuses knowledge of new or forthcoming regulations which may impact business and operational plans, budgets, etc., to all appropriate staff levels.
          · Supports new product introductions/business acquisitions by evaluating manufacturer state of quality, adherence to applicable regulations, and compliance and product safety.

          Job Requirements:
          · Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering , Microbiology or related degree
          · At least a total of 5 years experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, sanitation, or auditing.
          · Must have extensive knowledge of GMPS, food safety, HACCP, and quality systems.
          · Experience related to spray drying and low acid canned foods preferred.
          · Experience auditing clinical studies and computer systems is desired.
          · Microbiological knowledge is preferred.
