          Mead Johnson Nutrition is currently searching for a qualified Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Architect to join our team in Evansville, IN.

          JobDescription/Expected Areas of Competence and Responsibility:

          *
          Lead definition of an enterprise integration strategy for MJN, including definition of standards, guidelines and
          *
          best practices for application-to-application and business-to-business integrations.
          *
          Influence and guide external Service Provider in implementation of the strategy, providing guidance and review
          *
          of Service Provider’s architecture plans and designs to ensure methodology, best practices and standards are followed
          *
          and to ensure overall quality of the integration solution.
          *
          Drive standardization of common business objects and ensure integration solutions are architected for reusability.
          *
          Lead definition and implementation of MJN’s enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) strategy.
          *
          Develop an understanding of MJN’s global business strategies and contribute to development of an application rationalization
          *
          roadmap specifically focusing on integration and SOA opportunities.
          *
          Demonstrate the ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of the organization and with internal and external team members.
          *
          Contribute as a principal team member of the Enterprise Architecture organization, ensuring this high-performing team coordinates
          *
          delivery with enterprise strategies and roadmaps that are integrated and aligned with the business strategy.
          *
          Adhere to MJN operational policies procedures and compliance guidelines.
          *
          Maintain awareness of industry trends and best-practices within the enterprise integration and SOA environments in order to introduce
          *
          innovation and ensure cost-effectiveness of MJN’s standards and strategies. Recommend changes to MJN’s EAI and SOA strategies to
          *
          improve the value of integration and SOA to MJN.
          *
          Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external IT experts and specialists (solution architects, project managers,
          *
          external solutions providers) to provide leadership and technical guidance, continuously expanding MJN knowledge and capabilities of EAI and SOA.

          Qualifications:

          Experiences Desired:

          *
          Proven track record of successful strategy development and demonstrated strong planning skills.
          *
          Excellent oral and written communication skills with business and technical audiences.
          *
          Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and on budget
          *
          Demonstrated matrix management skills
          *
          Large project implementation experience is required, preferably in a multi-national company.
          *
          Experience with implementation and support of ERS and 21CFR11 compliant applications is preferred.

          Knowledge Desired:

          *
          Minimum of a Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering or IT related discipline. Master’s degree in an IT technical field preferred.
          *
          5 years of progressive experience defining and implementing enterprise integration solutions using a leading industry integration platform (i.e., WebSphere, webMethods, Tibco, SAP PI); experience with WebSphere and/or SAP PI preferred.
          *
          3 – 5 year experience with SAP integration.
          *
          Demonstrate an understanding of all elements required to architect, design, build, test, operate and maintain complex, global systems utilizing enterprise infrastructure and applications.
          *
          Awareness of the health care and consumer products industries is beneficial.
          *
          In-depth knowledge of project management including budget & resource management.
          *
          Experience working in a highly validated environment is preferred
          *
          Formally educated in Service Management Standards, e.g. ITIL.
          *
          Understanding of the technology, trends, and techniques in the IT industry.
          *
          Global experience dealing with challenges of diverse cultures, time zones, travel and communications.
          *
          Broad understanding of multiple business processes and ERP solutions related to these functions including manufacturing, customer service, logistics, finance and procurement.
          *
          Understanding of KPIs and Metrics for associated with Global Enterprise Application Integration.
