Cox Enterprises Performance Manager in Carmel, Indiana

DESCRIPTION The Performance Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with dealerships and for the day to day management of assigned accounts. Responsible to maintain and grow portfolio and to meet or exceed the goals set by NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Client oversight of NextGear Capital s Elite clients as assigned. * Daily client engagement via phone/in person with Elite dealer group, as assigned. * Utilize reporting system, aggregated data, and SalesForce tools to aid in tracking and managing of assigned client base. * Reconcile collateral audit issues and engage with client to ensure compliance with NextGear Capital expectations. * Track client utilization and leverage risk data to maximize client performance. * Collect and analyze dealer financials monthly for risk and organic growth opportunities. * Complete monthly account reviews for risk and organic growth opportunities. * Establish client goals to achieve NextGear Capital performance goals. * Track and manage covenants according to the dealer s contract. * Conduct monthly consulting calls to discuss the health and wealth of the dealership, account management and industry insights. * Work collaboratively with field operations team members, and various departments within NextGear Capital to achieve monthly/annual goals. * Work collaboratively with Cox business unit team members to drive dealer performance and NextGear Capital s monthly/annual goals. * Work collaboratively with NextGear Capital Team Members to drive revenue, grow Cox Automotive, and maximize profitability through controlled growth and risk mitigation. * Risk Management of NextGear Capital s largest clients. * Determine and acknowledge dealer risk, advise and coordinate with the risk department to anaylize and develop collections strategies. * Deploy and enforce collection strategies with the dealer. Collect daily sales logs, funding notifications and CIT reports to ensure SOT balance does not grow. * Communicate collection plan with dealer, track progress and hold dealer accountable. * Manage assigned franchise dealers by working with OEM zone managers, collecting incentives and allocation reports. * Leverage relationships and reporting available to determine growth opportunities within the portfolio. * Construct lending applications and walk through the appropriate processes to contracting.QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor s degree in business or a related field preferred * 5+ years of Auto Industry background preferred * Industry knowledge and work experience preferred JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Strong interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to be able to interact with all levels in the organization. * Strong Analytical skills. * Proficiency in Excel, Word, and SalesForce. * Ability to take consultative approach. * Ability to analyze financial data. * Strong negotiation and collection skills. * Strong sales skills. * Conduct direct dealer collections on assigned portfolio. * Coach desired dealer behavior as it relates to account performance. * Work with Field Operations as assigned to identify, monitor and resolve accounts. * Provide objective perspective for the company relating to initial analysis and progress of at risk accounts. * Generate weekly and monthly reports on area of assigned markets/regions. * All other duties as assigned by Company TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: * N/A PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Sitting, standing for extended periods of time * Occasional bending, lifting * Driving for long periods of time. * Some travel required.
